StackCommander operates the Currency Converter + Widgets iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.
By using Currency Converter + Widgets, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
The App does not require an account. We do not collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) directly through the App, and we do not store your data on our servers.
Some features ask for device permissions (Camera, Photos, and Location) so you can scan printed prices. Those features run on your device as described below. Separately, the free version of the App uses Google AdMob, which may collect certain information for advertising and analytics.

We use the Camera only when you open Scan, to read prices on menus and show them in your home currency. On supported iOS versions, Scan can also translate menu text on your device.
Camera frames are processed on your device. We do not upload photos or camera frames to our servers.
You can choose an existing photo from your library to scan, and you can save the scanned menu with converted prices back to Photos. We do not browse your photo library in the background.
We use Location while you are using the App (when-in-use) to detect your country so menu prices are read in the local currency. We keep the country for that purpose—not a precise location history—and we do not send your location to our servers.
Price reading, menu text translation (on supported iOS versions), and any on-device model refinement stay on your device. That means we are not collecting the text of your menus. Nothing from Scan is sent to StackCommander for storage or analysis.
The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. Personalized ads depend on your choice when iOS asks whether to allow tracking. You can upgrade to Pro to remove ads.

Currency Converter + Widgets offers an optional Pro in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks unlimited live and photo scanning. All payments are handled by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive your card details or other billing information.

We do not store personal information on our own servers. Scan camera frames, photos you choose, and location used for country detection stay on your device as described above. Data collected by Google AdMob is managed and protected under Google's privacy and data-protection policies.
Our App is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data, please contact us at support@stackcommander.com, and we will work to remove it promptly.

You can also reset your device's advertising identifier at any time in iOS Settings. Camera, Photos, and Location access can be changed anytime in iOS Settings for this App. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.
